Meet our Friends!

Ricky (he/she/they) is a children’s educator, entertainer, design leader, and host of The Rainbow Beard Show. Based in Providence, RI, Ricky is committed to promoting curiosity and play for kids of all ages.

Rota (she/her) is a telephone headed girl who keeps everyone at the Rainbow Beard Show connected to the community. She is an avid dancer, speaks the 'mee mee mee' language and is married to Iron Mime.

Sometimes we just need to iron out all of the details and The Iron (he/she/they) does that for us! They have an iron for a head and can really get us looking sharp.

A little absent-minded but full of fluffy love and hugs, Niall (he/him) has his own language for the weather. He delivers his report from the sky channel.

Bobby the Necktie (he/him) can be a little cranky but that is due to being tucked in all day. He is in charge of our accounts and keeps us balanced!

Josie (she/her) spends most of her time in the stacks, organizing all of the books in The Rainbow Beard Show library! She has a passion for nonsense words.

Joe (he/him) has a really long tongue that he uses like a pointer finger. When he grows up he wants to be a skateboarding clown but for now he helps his mom, Josie, run the library.

Shoola (he/she/they) is a right-footed high heel shoe who likes to sing and dance and put on drag shows. One day Shoola hopes to find a matching shoe, but not just whatever's left.

Mike Rave (he/him) has a passion for food and he always keeps snack time fun! Whether making slow-pop popcorn, or taking the chill out of some cold spaghetti, Mike makes sure we are fed.
